Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic native iOS developer who will be responsible for taking raw application idea from client/business team and can start with planning, architecture, designing, development and maintenance of custom native applications aimed at a range of iOS devices as per the clients' requirements. As an iOS Developer at Acropolis, you will be involved in all aspects of development playing a critical role in design, planning, development and deployment and helping develop best practices for future development. You will be working closely with Tech, Design and Quality team to build and launch the product. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Skills Required:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Swift, collections, algorithms and well-known application frameworks.
• Strong understanding of interactive application development paradigm under iOS, memory management, file I/O, network programming, concurrency and multi-threading.
• Experience with iOS-specific application development and publishing iOS apps in the App store.
• Experience in writing unit tests, testable code and well-known mobile application development platforms like Firebase, Fabric, Fastlane, Realm, Jenkins, Git, React Native knowledge.
• Excellent understanding of the full mobile development life cycle with a good understanding of design patterns.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions.
• Flexible and proactive/ self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, formal and informal).
• High accountability with a collaborative attitude and a constant learning drive.
• Experience with react native will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work asynchronously on multiple apps at the time.
• Development, release, and maintenance of native iOS Applications.
• Lead and oversee mobile application development efforts.
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle - design, build, deploy, test, release, scale to app stores and support.
• Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and release products.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Optimize performance for apps and keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
